Quotations quiz

Who said the following?

1) ‘It is now apparent that the ecological pragmatism of the so-called pagan religions… was a great deal more realistic in terms of conservation ethics than the more intellectual monotheistic philosophies of the revealed religions.’

    The first quotation, improbably, is by Prince Philip in a speech in 1990 to the North American Conference on Religion and Ecology. He must have had a good speech writer…

    The second quotation is by Tacitus on the Druids.

    The third quotation is by Joseph Campbell in his book, ‘Primitive Mythology’.
